Questions
What you need to know about working here and how we operate
We look for people who think clearly, care about their work, and enjoy solving real problems.
Experience matters, but so does how you work. We value people who ask good questions, take ownership, collaborate well, and make space for others to do great work too.
It depends on the role, but we try to keep the process clear, thoughtful, and respectful of your time.
You may have an initial conversation with recruitment, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and the team you would be working closely with. For some roles, there may also be a practical task or technical conversation so we can understand your approach.
Not always. Some roles do need specific aviation, regulatory or operational experience, but many do not.
We’re interested in people from different backgrounds, especially if you bring relevant skills, curiosity, and the drive to work in a fast-moving industry.
It’s collaborative, ambitious, and practical. We’re working on unsolved problems, so things move quickly and people get close to their work.
If you enjoy figuring things out, working with smart people and seeing your work make a real-world impact, you’ll probably enjoy it here.
We work internationally, with teams and operations across multiple countries. The location for each role will be listed in the job descriptio. Some roles may involve working across regions, or travelling for projects.
It depends on the role. Many of our roles are hybrid, as we believe great work happens when people collaborate closely, share ideas easily and solve problems together quickly.
We’ll always make the working pattern clear during the hiring process, so you know what to expect before joining.
We want people to keep growing. That might be learning through the work itself, taking on new responsibilities, or utilising our training budget to join courses or conferences.
As we’re working in a developing industry, there’s a lot of opportunity to learn by being close to new challenges.
We’re a team of people from different backgrounds, disciplines and countries, working together on a shared mission.
The culture is hands-on, collaborative and supportive. People here tend to care deeply about doing good work, helping each other and moving things forward.
Yes. If there isn’t a perfect role open right now, you can still submit an open application for future opportunities.
We’re always interested in hearing from people who are excited by what we’re building.
Yes. We want Skyports to be a place where people from different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives can do their best work.
We know better ideas come from varied teams, and we’re committed to building an inclusive environment as we grow.
We know how much time and thought goes into applying for a new role, so we do our best to keep candidates updated throughout the process.
Timelines can vary depending on the role and the number of applications we receive, but we will always aim to let you know whether or not your application has been successful.
While we may not always be able to provide individual feedback at application stage, we really appreciate your interest in Skyports and the time you’ve taken to apply
If you need an adjustment or support at any stage of the hiring process, please reach out to kelsey.carew@skyports.net.
We’ll do our best to make the process as accessible and comfortable as possible.
